Metrasens – “1000 Companies to Inspire Britain”

Metrasens has been named by London Stock Exchange as one of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain

Metrasens has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2019. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses (SMEs), with companies representing over 40 sectors and spanning every country and region across the UK.

To be selected for the list, businesses had to demonstrate not only positive revenue growth over the last three years but also outperform their sector peers. The result is a unique and varied list of the UK’s most dynamic companies. More details on the Companies to Inspire reports and methodology can be found online at

Metrasens’ inclusion in the report follows its receipt of two Queens Awards for Enterprise in 2017 and 2018 in recognition of its performance in International Trade, and for Innovation. The Company’s mission is to use its unique advanced magnetic sensor and metal detection technologies to fill the voids in conventional safety and security systems, helping to make the world a safer place.

Dr. Simon Goodyear, Metrasens CEO and co-founder commented: “We are thrilled to be included in the London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report. This is recognition of the hard work of every member of the Metrasens team, in the UK and around the world.  This is such an exciting time for our business, with success in our current core markets combined with the much larger opportunities emerging out of the achievements of our technology and product teams.”

David Schwimmer, CEO, London Stock Exchange Group said: “Congratulations to all the companies selected for inclusion in the sixth edition of London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report, which identifies the UK’s most dynamic SMEs.
