The Ferroguard approved patient transfer equipment is MRI safe and 100% free of all residual ferromagnetic materials.

Ferroguard combined with approved patient transfer equipment eliminates the potential for equipment false alarms during the non ambulatory patient transfer.

Hazardous objects missed or overlooked and inadvertently placed with a patient during transportation on Ferroguard approved equipment will be identified for isolation and removal before entering the MRI room.

All Ferroguard products are entirely passive in operation and are completely safe for your staff, patients and MRI image quality. 

Ferroguard should not be used to replace current pre-MRI screening procedures. The safety of staff and patients is best served by the combination of conscientious screening protocols, thorough staff training AND installation of a ferromagnetic detection system used in the correct manner.
